Conservative party conference: Andrew RT Davies backs welfare cuts
The leader of the Conservative group in the Welsh assembly has backed further welfare cuts as part of the "building blocks bringing prosperity to Wales".
Andrew RT Davies was speaking ahead of day two of the Conservative conference in Birmingham, where UK chancellor George Osborne gave more details of how the government hopes to cut £10bn from the welfare budget over the next three to four years.
In an interview with BBC Radio Wales, Mr Davies also gave his views on gay marriage, and abortion.
Presenter Bethan Rhys Roberts began by asking him whether the people of Wales were ready for another round of welfare cuts.
