Derelict Merthyr jewellers transformed to help homeless
A derelict Victorian jewellers shop in Merthyr Tydfil has been transformed into a cafe and teaching centre staffed by young homeless people.
The social enterprise, which is officially opened on Friday by the charity Llamau, is being run to provide its volunteers with work experience and training in a professional environment.
Transforming the Grade II-listed building has cost £600,000.
