Cwmcarn school asbestos: contractor suggested demolition
A specialist contractor has advised Caerphilly council to consider demolishing a school closed last week because of asbestos, it has emerged.
Cwmcarn High School closed a week ago after a structural report highlighted problems.
Sixth formers will return to a new classroom block on Friday and Year 11 pupils will return on Monday.
Among them will be Nadia Yamamoto, whose mother Sally told Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales she was not worried about her daughter going back to school although questions remained about older parts of the premises.
