Diabulimia weight loss concern raised by Diabetes UK Cymru

A leading diabetes charity in Wales has told BBC Radio Wales that it is becoming increasingly concerned about the number of people abusing their condition to lose weight.

Diabulimia is when diabetics, usually with type one, stop taking their insulin to get thin.

Around one in three women under the age of 30 may be abusing insulin according to Diabetes UK.

Jacqueline Allan explains how her life was affected by the condition.

And Dai Williams, national director for Diabetes UK Cymru, tells Bethan Rhys Roberts that more education is needed surrounding diabetes.
