Port Talbot Town football fans to chose ticket price

A Welsh Premier football club will allow fans to pay what they want at the gates in a bid to boost attendance.

Port Talbot Town will try the idea on Saturday when the club takes on Bala Town at the 6,000-seat stadium at Victoria Road.

The team, fourth in the league, had an average attendance of just 207 between 1994 and 2010.

Club chairman Andrew Edwards told Peter Johnson and Steve James of BBC Radio Wales that turnout this season had not topped 300.
