John Beddoes sixth form's future is discussed
The future of a sixth form at a Powys school is to be discussed by councillors later.
Powys council is looking at the situation because fewer pupils have been staying for the sixth form at John Beddoes School in Presteigne, with many deciding to study across the border in Hereford instead.
If councillors approve the plans, John Beddoes will be the first secondary school in Powys to lose its sixth form.
Former John Beddoes pupil Barney Raynsford told the BBC's mid Wales reporter Cemlyn Davies why he chose to leave.
