Education support call for children with cancer
Alyn and Deeside Mark Tami MP is calling on the UK government to ensure that children recovering from cancer get the support they need to catch up with their education.
It comes after the cancer charity Clic Seargent said children with the condition can suffer from bullying and lose their friends as well as falling behind with their learning.
The issue will be debated later in the House of Commons and Mr Tami will be taking part, drawing on his family's experiences after his son, Max, was diagnosed with leukaemia five years ago.
Here, he talks to Bethan Rhys Roberts on BBC Radio Wales.
