Pensioners in Wales eat or heat as they struggle to pay bills
The proportion of income spent by over 50s on household fuel has increased at a faster rate than the rest of the population since 2005, researchers have found.
Figures released by Saga, which represents the over 50s, also show that the average spend on fuel for people over 65 has doubled.
Phyllis Preece lives in Cardiff and is chair of the National Pensioners Convention for Wales.
She told Bethan Rhys Roberts that she struggles to pay her fuel bills.
