Lloyd George's village celebrates 150th anniversary
David Lloyd George, Britain's only Welsh prime minister, was born 150 years ago.
The politician, known as the Welsh wizard, rose from humble origins on the Llyn Peninsula to introduce the old age pension and lead Britain through World War I.
Thursday's anniversary has been marked in his home village of Llanystumdwy and at Westminster.
