Carers' needs part of bill to 'transform' social care
Carers who look after disabled, sick or frail relatives or friends will receive the same legal rights to support as those they care for under Welsh government legislation published on Tuesday.
The Social Services Bill is also aimed at giving people more control over the help they receive and a single national criteria for who is eligible.
Steven Griffiths, from Llanelli, is a full time carer for both of his parents. He told BBC Radio Wales some of the day to day challenges he faces as a carer.
