Plan to cut Welsh MPs killed off at Westminster

UK government plans to cut the number of Welsh MPs by a quarter have been killed off at Westminster.

Liberal Democrat MPs voted with Labour to vote against their Conservative coalition partners and delay any changes until after the next general election.

It means Welsh voters will still send 40 MPs to Westminster at that election.
