Wind farms: Onshore turbines could produce 2,000 jobs until 2050
Onshore wind farms could produce an average of 2,000 jobs a year until 2050 and put £2.3bn into the Welsh economy.
That is the forecast from the first report looking at the economic impact of wind energy in Wales.
The researchers reached that conclusion after analysing how much of the money spent until now on wind farms has stayed in Wales.
