Armed forces: Call for more veterans support
Public bodies need to do more to support armed forces veterans in Wales, according to a committee of MPs.
The Welsh Affairs Committee said it recognised the commitment of the Welsh and UK governments but also said there were issues - particularly in housing and health - where there are problems and more needs to be done.
Prof Alan Hawley, a retired major general and military expert, told Felicity Evans of BBC Radio Wales that despite a range of charities and other bodies offering support, it needed better co-ordination.
