Plans to re-open Welsh gold mine in Dolgellau

It has been 15 years since the last gold mine in Wales closed, but plans to re-open it have taken a possible step forward.

The company which wants to begin mining near Dolgellau in Gwynedd says it will be working with one of the largest jewellery firms in Wales.

Both companies say a partnership will help them create even more jobs and bring more benefits to the Welsh economy.

Chris Dearden reports for BBC Wales Today.
