Margaret Thatcher: Lord Roberts' memories of bomb defiance
Speaking in 2011, Lord Roberts of Conwy remembered the 1984 IRA bombing of the Grand Hotel in Brighton where Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her cabinet were staying for the Conservative Party conference.
Five people were killed and 31 were injured but she survived the assasination attempt.
The former junior Welsh Office minister told John Stevenson that Baroness Thatcher was "a woman of steel" following the bombing.
