London school buys Victorian shopping store owner's old home

David Morgan was once one of the most recognised names in shopping.

He opened a small drapers shop on the Hayes in Cardiff and over 125 years it grew into a six-storey department store until its closure in 2005.

After making his fortune David Morgan returned home to the Brecon Beacons, purchased his old family house and set about building a grand Victorian residency.

The house, which has remained largely unchanged, was sold to an independent school in London.

BBC Radio Wales reporter Charlotte Dubenskij has been to meet its new owners and find out their plans for Llanbrynean.
