Sapa Extrusions: 132 aluminium plant jobs at risk
An aluminium plant in Caerphilly county could close with the loss of 132 jobs.
Sapa Extrusions has begun a consultation with employees at the factory in Bedwas, which has been operating since 1971.
The firm blamed "significant changes" in market conditions in the past few years and said it needed to stay competitive.
Sapa said it would work to provide opportunities for future employment for staff if the plant was to close.
BBC Wales business correspondent Brian Meechan reports.
