No return of BA flights from Cardiff Airport, company says

British Airways is committed to maintenance and engineering work in Wales but there will be no return to flights from Cardiff airport, the company says.

Chief executive Keith Williams told BBC Wales the three Welsh facilities - employing 1,200 workers - remain firmly part of the firm's plans.

But it faces fierce competition from Asia, he added.

BBC Wales business correspondent Brian Meechan reports.
