Between the horse meat scandal, heavy snow in the spring and cuts to farm subsidies, rural Wales has had its fair share of headlines in the past year.

Some farmers say they need more financial help from the Welsh government to survive in a tough climate.

But others believe expanding and diversify their business is the key to a successful future.
