Overturned lorry closes M4 Briton Ferry Bridge near Swansea

The M4 near Swansea was closed for several hours on Saturday and Sunday after a lorry hit the central barrier on the Briton Ferry bridge and overturned.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon, but recovery services had to wait until the winds dropped before taking the vehicle away shortly after 11:00 GMT on Sunday.

Cardiff City fans returning home from Saturday's derby against Swansea City were among those who had their journeys diverted while the motorway was closed.
