Crabb says Wales needs welfare reform 'more than UK'

Wales Office minister Stephen Crabb says Wales needs welfare reform as much as the rest of the UK, if not more.

His comments come as almost a half of Welsh voters questioned for a BBC Wales opinion poll say the UK government should take tougher action to force people on benefits into work.

Another 22% thought current policies were about right but 27% thought they were too harsh.

Wayne David, Labour MP for Caerphilly, said people should be encouraged in to into quality employment not "low-wage, skivvy, part-time zero hours" work.

Tomos Livingstone reports for the BBC's Sunday Politics Wales.
