Foodbank demand prompts hunger warning by archbishop

The number of people using foodbanks in Wales has more than doubled in the past 12 months, new figures show.

The Trussell Trust said it had given emergency food aid to nearly 80,000 people in Wales during 2013-14.

The Archbishop of Wales, Barry Morgan, has joined more than 500 clergymen to urge the UK government to tackle a "national hunger crisis".

Roger Pinney reports.
