It has been a home of entertainment for 90 years, so it is no surprise Swansea-born poet Dylan Thomas was drawn to New York's Cherry Lane Theatre.
Some of America's best-loved actors have tread its boards and it now houses some of T.S. Eliot's early works.
But it was not until his second visit to the city in 1952 that Thomas took centre stage.
