'Worry' over inconsistencies at pupil referral units
Inconsistencies in the quality of classes for troubled pupils across Wales are 'worrying', the children's commissioner says.
Keith Towler said pupil referral units (PRUs) were often seen as an "afterthought" by local authorities and wants to ensure the teaching they offer is as good as mainstream schools.
The Welsh government said action was being taken to share best practice.
He spoke to Mai Davies on BBC Radio Wales.
