Queen's Baton Relay tour in Wales ahead of Commonwealth Games
The Queen's Baton Relay has spent the first of its seven days in Wales, after arriving by plane at Cardiff Airport just after 11:00 BST on Saturday.
Despite the rain, crowds turned out at Six Bells, Abertillery, where 82-year-old pit disaster survivor Joseph Price was among the baton bearers.
A total of 177 people will carry the baton in Wales. It contains a message to athletes from the Queen.
The first baton relay was held in 1958 ahead of the Cardiff Games.
Claire Summers reports on the baton's itinerary.
