Llanidloes's shock after four die in A44 crash

Residents in Llanidloes have described their shock following the deaths of four people from the town in a collision on the A44, saying the road is known to be dangerous.

The crash's sole survivor, an 18-month-old girl named locally as Holly Hind, is in a serious condition following Tuesday's crash.

Alison Hind, 28, her uncle Martyn Pugh, 47, and his partner's parents Margaret, 65, and John Kehoe, 72, all died in the collision with a tanker.
