Glyndwr University visa fraud probe announcement angers minister

Education Minister Huw Lewis has complained to the Home Office after he revealed there was no prior notice about actions against Wrexham's Glyndwr University over a student visa fraud probe.

The university has been stripped of its right to sponsor foreign students' visa applications.

It follows allegations that some students may have obtained English language certificates fraudulent.
