Off-roading 'problem' for wildlife, say North Wales Police

Illegal off-road drivers are threatening wildlife and damaging the landscape in mountains, say North Wales Police.

Officers and farming unions have organised a meeting in Glyn Ceiriog, near Chirk, Wrexham to look at ways of tackling the problem.

Police Community Support Officer Rebecca Holmes said there had been a growing number of complaints about people taking vehicles on footpaths, bridle paths and across open ground where they have no right to be.

PCSO Holmes spoke to BBC Wales reporter Rob Thomas.
