Captured man Alec MacLachlan's treatment angers mum
The mother of a man who was kidnapped and then killed by Iraqi militants in 2007 has told Wales Today the Foreign Office treated him like a second-class citizen.
Alec MacLachlan from Llanelli was one of five men captured in Baghdad. Four were killed.
Today, the leader of the group who took them has apologised for their deaths, and blamed the UK government for not doing enough to intervene.
Abigail Neal reports.
