Meridian Tower: Man told not to leave flat during incident

A man living in a 29-storey tower in Swansea that was at the centre of a police incident has described seeing armed officers and the police helicopter at the scene.

Jason Hole lives on the eighth floor of the tower at Meridian Quay and was told by police not to leave his flat.

He spoke to BBC Radio Wales during the incident.

South Wales Police said they used a Taser in the arrest of an armed man who had taken another man hostage in the penthouse restaurant of the tower in Swansea.
