House price rise in Wales slows as more homes built

Demand for new homes in Wales is beginning to slow down as the supply increases, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Its latest report says the recovery in the housing market is well underway, although the rate at which prices are rising is beginning to slow down.

Estate agents say demand is stronger in areas like Cardiff and for certain types of property, such as homes for first-time buyers.
