Kelly Thomas 'cried a lot' waiting for operation
The number of patients waiting more than nine months for hospital treatment has gone up again.
For the first time, the figure has topped 20,000 for those waiting nine months or longer - the target is that no-one should be.
The Welsh government says nobody should wait that long but that on average the wait is 11 weeks.
Abigail Neal has been speaking to Kelly Thomas who has been off work all year as she waits for a bowel operation.
