'Shock' at two deaths after police fire Taser in Argoed
A man has spoken of his shock after two people died after police were called to a hostel in Caerphilly county and fired a Taser stun gun at a suspect.
Roger Edwards, lives in Argoed, near Blackwood, where officers went to the former Sirhowy Arms Hotel at 01:23 GMT on Thursday after reports a man was attacking a woman.
The woman was injured and later died. Her death is being treated as murder.
Gwent Police said a Taser was discharged and the man was arrested. He then died despite efforts to save him.
