World War One: Llangwm villagers tell story - in opera
A small village community in Pembrokeshire is preparing to mark the centenary of World War One in a unique way - by performing their first opera.
At least 80 people from the village of Llangwm and the surrounding area are involved in the production, which has been written especially for the occasion.
It has been partly funded by the Ministry of Defence.
Much of the story is set in the village, but it also includes scenes from the battlefields of the Western Front.
The village had a training camp two miles up the road and people wanted to explore the effect that would have had on a very small community.
The first of the five performances of World War One - A Village Opera takes place on Wednesday night in Llangwm at 19:00 GMT.
Sarah Moore has been to the rehearsal.
