April's parents: 'Huge relief' now killer Bridger's home is gone

The parents of murdered April Jones have spoken of their "huge relief" now that the home of her killer Mark Bridger has been demolished.

Paul and Coral Jones said they needed to see the cottage destroyed so they can "move on" from the tragedy.

The Machynlleth property is believed to be location where Bridger murdered five-year-old April in October 2012.

Her parents, who wanted the building flattened, said coming to the site had "opened a wound" but said April's spirit "can now be free".
