Alan Meudell felt 'parked' on back-to-work scheme
A man on a back-to-work scheme for people with mental health problems says he felt "parked" rather than helped by the system.
Alan Meudell, who suffers with depression, was on the Work Programme in Wales.
The mental health charity Mind says it wants a separate, specialist scheme, claiming the current one is ineffective.
A DWP spokeswoman said: "Mind are overlooking the fact that previous jobs schemes simply didn't do enough for people with mental health conditions.
"It has already helped thousands of people with mental health conditions into work, instead of just writing people off on sickness benefits as often happened in the past."
