Eighty City Link jobs to go in Wales, say union bosses

About 80 jobs will go at City Link depots on New Year's Eve in Wales, union bosses have confirmed.

Steve Hedley, assistant general secretary of the RMT union, said only 10 posts will remain at the firm's sites in Taff's Well, at Swansea and also in Gaerwen on Anglesey.

The parcel delivery company announced on Christmas Eve that it had gone into administration, with 2,727 posts in the UK at risk.

More than 2,000 City Link staff will lose their jobs across the country.
