Welsh cities struggling with job creation and prosperity
Welsh cities are struggling to create jobs and prosperity, according to a new report.
The City Outlook 2015 report says the gap between the south of England and the rest of the UK has widened in the last 10 years.
Compiled annually by research organisation Centre for Cities, it said Newport and Swansea in particular are badly affected by the gap.
Cardiff, however, was ranked as one of the fastest growing cities in the UK.
Economic correspondent Sarah Dickins reports.
