Plan for 1,700 homes in Bodelwyddan 'too big'

A huge development for a Denbighshire village which could see 1,715 homes, a 100-bedroom hotel and a primary school built will be discussed on Wednesday.

Denbighshire councillors will meet to look over plans for Bodelwyddan.

A care home, new highway and 64 acres of land for businesses could also be built under the proposals.

The application was first submitted to the council in December 2013 and a public consultation was held between January and March 2014.

Resident David Roberts is against the plans.
