Leading modern artists from around the world are in Wales to find out if they have won the Artes Mundi prize.

Artists from America, Portugal, Israel and Iceland are among the 10 nominees who have put forward nine exhibitions to compete in the event, which is held in Cardiff every two years.

The winner of the £40,000 prize will be announced on Thursday night.
