M4 crash: Fireman Lee Morley tells of panic
An off-duty fireman from Swansea who was first on the scene of a major crash on the M4 near Cardiff has told how he remained calm amid the panic.
Lee Morley, 27, was driving on the motorway westbound when he saw the collision on the eastbound side.
He pulled onto the hard shoulder, jumped over the barrier and started giving first aid to the injured.
Twenty-eight people were taken to hospital following the incident, which involved a small coach and six vehicles between junction 33 Capel Llanilltern and junction 34 Miskin.
One woman was airlifted to hospital and another 27 people were taken to three hospitals by ambulance.
Traffic is still queuing for miles after the 11:50 GMT crash.
Mr Morley spoke to BBC Wales.
