People advised to take care as 'supertides' rise

Flood warnings are in place and roads have been closed in south Wales due to rising "supertides".

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has warned of "dangerous conditions" that could see tides breach sea and river defences.

Deiniol Tegid from NRW urged people to take a "great deal of care" if they go near the coast over the weekend.

Spring tides reach the peak of an 18-and-a-half year cycle on Saturday, with south Wales likely to be most affected.
