Welsh voters prefer David Cameron to Ed Miliband for PM

Welsh voters would rather have David Cameron as Prime Minister than Ed Miliband, according to a new poll for BBC Wales.

The ICM survey found 34% rated the Conservative leader and 23% his Labour rival.

UKIP's leader Nigel Farage was lower down in the approval rating at 8% while Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg was on 5% - although 21% answered "none of them".

Those polled were asked to disregard their own party preferences when naming the leader they thought would make the best prime minister.

The BBC's Nick Servini and David Cornock examine the results.
