Phil Bale 'committed to city' after confidence vote
The leader of Cardiff council says he remains committed to the city after surviving a vote of no confidence.
Opposition groups called the vote against Phil Bale following last minute changes to the authority's budget last week.
However, the Labour group backed their leader, after potential rebels were warned they faced disciplinary action if they voted against Mr Bale.
Following the vote, he told BBC Wales' Paul Martin that his Labour group remained "united" in their fight for a better deal for local government.
