Crash death pupils were 'fun loving', says head teacher

Support will be offered at a Vale of Glamorgan school after pupils there were involved in a fatal crash in Powys.

Alesha O'Connor, Rhodri Miller and Corey Price, all 17, and from Barry, died in the collision near Storey Arms, Brecon, late on Friday.

Head teacher Dylan Jones, of Ysgol Bro Morgannwg where Corey and Rhodri had both been pupils, said the school would come together on Monday to remember them and celebrate their lives.

Speaking to BBC Wales, Mr Jones described them as "sociable, fun loving" and "among a strong group of friends".

Margaret Elizabeth Challis, 68, from Merthyr Tydfil, was also killed in the incident.

Seven teenage male drivers were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, but all have been released on bail.
