Brecon crash survivor feels 'lucky' to be alive

A survivor of a car crash which killed four people in the Brecon Beacons has spoken about how lucky he feels to be alive.

Rhys Hunter, 17, was a passenger in the back of a car being driven by his friend Rhodri Miller, who died along with fellow passengers Alesha O'Connor, and Corey Price.

Margaret Challis, 66, who was travelling in another car, was also killed in the incident late on Friday evening.

Mr Hunter suffered a broken leg in the A470 crash, which needed surgery.

Speaking to BBC Wales, the teenager from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, he said the crash had shown him how "you can lose a life in a matter of seconds".
