Millions invested to tackle drug abuse in Wales

More than £50m will be invested by the Welsh government in programmes to tackle drug and alcohol misuse over the next 12 months - the same amount as last year.

Deputy Health Minister Vaughan Gething announced how the money will be spent during a visit to a substance misuse service in Cardiff.

Alcohol and Class A drug use is estimated to cost Wales as much as £2bn a year in terms of its economic and social impact.
