Ski death boy Carwyn Scott-Howell was 'happy and polite'

A boy who died after falling off a cliff during a ski holiday in the French Alps was a "happy and polite" boy, his teacher has said.

The boy, named locally as seven-year-old Carwyn Scott-Howell from Talybont-on-Usk, fell 160ft (49m) to his death after leaving the piste in the resort of Flaine on Friday.

Darren Evans, deputy head teacher of Ysgol Y Bannau who had taught Carwyn for the past two years, said he would be greatly missed.
