Burglars blow up cash machine and steal £45,000

This is the moment two men blew up a cash machine in order to steal £45,000.

Russell Luke Bennett, 21 and Benjamin Brian Barrett, 30, from Bristol, have been jailed after pleading guilty to conspiring to cause an explosion likely to endanger life and burglary.

They caused explosions at two Barclays Bank cash machines - one on Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd, and another on Bridgend Industrial Estate.

In total, £80,000 was stolen.

CCTV captured one of the explosions.
