GP service callers 'waiting hours', doctor says
The GP out-of-hours service in north Wales is understaffed and has management issues, a report leaked to the BBC has said.
The report, written by consultants for Betsi Cadwaladr health board, said nearly all areas of the service were failing to meet agreed standards.
Prestatyn GP Eamonn Jessup was one of the contributors to the report.
He talked to BBC Wales about a typical shift, and what the problems were.
He said on arrival at a shift: "You can find that there are calls outstanding from several hours before."
